Our Ingredients

Our natural cosmetics are designed to work in harmony with the skin. This means our products support and regulate the skin’s natural processes — gently, purposefully, and sustainably — rather than simply treating the surface.

We combine traditional plant-based actives with modern, scientifically backed ingredients and always follow the latest dermatological research.

The Fundamental Pillars of Our Formulations

A carefully balanced blend of plant lipids that gently nourish, moisturize, and soothe the skin.

Phytosterols and phospholipids that optimally support the skin barrier and strengthen its natural protective function.

Collapsible content

Apricot Kernel Oil

A particularly gentle oil, ideal for sensitive skin. It smooths, calms, and leaves the skin feeling soft and comfortable.

Did you know? Apricot kernels have been used in traditional remedies for centuries — and their unique aroma is the very foundation of real amaretto.

Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima)

Perfect for dry, cracked, or stressed skin. It supports cell regeneration, improves the absorption of active ingredients, and is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.

Did you know? Avocado oil is extracted from the creamy pulp — not the pit — and was already used by the Aztecs as a beauty secret.

Baobab Seed Oil (Adansonia Digitata)

Rich in nutrients and deeply nourishing, baobab oil is especially suitable for dehydrated or barrier-impaired skin. It forms a protective, moisturizing layer on the skin, smooths the surface, and strengthens its natural barrier.

Did you know? Baobab trees — also called “trees of life” — can store up to 100,000 liters of water in their trunks to withstand extreme drought.

Colostrum

Colostrum is rich in immune-active factors that help the skin reduce inflammation-promoting bacteria. Its growth factors support faster regeneration, making it a central component of our formulations.

Did you know? Colostrum has been valued since ancient times — in Ayurvedic medicine, it has been used for thousands of years.

Cocoa Seed Butter (Theobroma Cacao)

Cocoa butter is a rich, soothing ingredient that calms irritated and chapped skin, leaving it velvety soft.

Did you know? Cocoa butter was highly prized by the Maya and Aztecs — not only for skincare but even as currency, as it was considered incredibly valuable in ancient cultures.

Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera)

Coconut oil absorbs quickly into the skin, making it soft and supple without leaving a greasy film. Its cooling effect is especially comforting on itchy or irritated skin.

Did you know? In tropical regions, coconut oil has been used for centuries not only as skincare but also as a natural sun protectant — it blocks about 20% of UV rays.

Cupuacu Seed Butter (Theobroma Grandiflorum)

Cupuacu butter is exceptionally effective at binding moisture and absorbs beautifully into the skin. It supports barrier regeneration, soothes redness, and leaves the skin deeply hydrated and refreshed.

Did you know? Cupuacu is a relative of cacao and is often called the “white chocolate wonder of the rainforest” because of its creamy texture and subtly sweet scent.

Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera Biennis)

Ideal for external and internal use on flaky or inflamed skin. Rich in essential fatty acids, it supports cell membrane formation, promotes regeneration, and strengthens the skin barrier.

Did you know? Evening primrose flowers open only at night — hence the name. Indigenous peoples of North America used the plant long before it became known in modern skincare.

Glycerin

A true hydration booster: glycerin provides deep moisture, improves elasticity, and strengthens the skin barrier for long-lasting smoothness and protection.

Did you know? Glycerin was discovered in 1779 during experiments with olive oil and has since become a timeless classic in skincare.

Hyaluronic Acid

As a natural component of the skin, hyaluronic acid forms a moisture-retaining layer that binds water in the upper layers of the skin. It delivers continuous hydration and creates a smoothing, firming effect.

Did you know? Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the skin, joints, and eyes — and can hold up to 1,000 times its own weight in water. That’s why it’s considered one of the most effective hydrators in nature.

Lame Cream

With its intensely nourishing properties, Lame Cream leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth.

Did you know? The term “Lame” comes from the special emulsifier blend that gives this cream its luxurious, creamy texture — a highly valued characteristic in skincare formulation.

Neutral Oil

A gentle oil that helps bring overtreated or irritated skin back into balance. Its low penetration depth makes it ideal for sensitive skin, as it hardly affects the barrier lipids while still providing a calming effect. Did you know? Neutral oils are so gentle and stable that they are often used in aromatherapy as carrier oils to distribute essential oils evenly without altering their properties.

Pentylene Glycol

A highly effective moisturizing ingredient that delivers deep hydration without leaving a sticky film. Did you know? Pentylene glycol naturally occurs in bamboo — making it a particularly sustainable and modern ingredient in skincare.

Phytosteryl Macadamiate

Reduces inflammation and soothes the skin, especially when a lack of cholesterol leads to dryness or sensitivity. It stabilizes the barrier and decreases transepidermal water loss. Did you know? Phytosteryl Macadamiate behaves similarly to the skin’s natural cholesterol — an essential component of the barrier. A true gift from nature that supports the skin in its daily defense.

Sea Buckthorn Pulp Oil

Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, this oil supports cell regeneration and is ideal for damaged skin. Its high content of palmitoleic acid, a natural skin lipid, makes it particularly effective at strengthening and protecting the barrier. Did you know? Sea buckthorn berries are so nutrient-dense that Tibetan monks used them as survival food — and they were even taken on space missions by cosmonauts.

Squalane

A completely non-irritating ingredient that leaves the skin feeling silky and soft without being greasy. Since squalane naturally occurs in the skin, it protects against lipid oxidation and supports a healthy barrier. Did you know? Squalane is naturally present in human skin and is now sustainably sourced from plants like olives or sugarcane — a major step forward, as sharks were once the main source.

Sunflower Oil

A gentle, nourishing oil with anti-inflammatory properties. It protects skin lipids from oxidative stress, soothes irritation, and provides deep, replenishing care. Did you know? Sunflowers live up to their name: they “follow” the sun throughout the day — a phenomenon called heliotropism, making them a symbol of vitality and growth.

Urea

As a natural component of the skin’s own moisturizing factor, urea binds water, relieves itching, and is especially comforting for skin prone to eczema or extreme dryness. Did you know? Urea was the first organic compound ever synthesized from inorganic materials in 1828 — a milestone in the history of modern chemistry.

Vitamin B5 (D-Panthenol)

Panthenol, the provitamin of Vitamin B5, supports essential metabolic processes in the skin and is exceptionally well tolerated. It provides moisture, calms inflammation, promotes wound healing, improves elasticity, and strengthens the skin barrier while reducing redness and itching. Did you know? Vitamin B5 (“pantothenic acid”) comes from the Greek word pantos — meaning “everywhere” — because this vitamin is found in nearly all living cells.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

Vitamin E protects the skin’s membrane lipids from oxidation, binds moisture, supports cell renewal, and provides anti-inflammatory and smoothing benefits. The result is an even, healthy-looking complexion. Did you know? Vitamin E was discovered in 1922 and was considered so essential for health that it was initially referred to as the “fertility vitamin.”

Xanthan Gum

A skin-friendly thickening agent that enhances hydration, forms a light protective layer, and reduces transepidermal water loss. Did you know? Xanthan is naturally produced through the fermentation of sugar — and it is so stable that it maintains its consistency even under extreme temperatures or pH conditions.

Zinc

Zinc binds moisture, has antimicrobial properties, and helps maintain a balanced skin microbiome by regulating bacteria, yeast, and fungi. Ideal for a clear, healthy complexion. Did you know? Zinc has been used for centuries to treat wounds and skin conditions — including in ancient Egyptian and Indian medicine.
