I have researched for many years at the University Medical Center Utrecht, the Ludwig Maximillians University München and Stanford University on molecular mechanisms of skin diseases and immune based therapies and alternatives for antibiotics. In addition to my work I have completed training in the field of natural medicine and the production of natural cosmetics.
Holiko offers me the unique opportunity to make care concepts, which are based on my collected knowledge and love for natural active ingredients and have proven valuable in my family and circle of friends, accessible for many people.
Holiko has two meanings: firstly, the most important active ingredient in our products is the first milk of cows, which is regarded as liquid gold. As donors of this noble substance, cows are sacred to me, just as the cow is considered as holy in India (holy cow). To others I find the Holifest in India fascinating, where you throw yourself with colour powder and the skin looks as if you have made the dicerse microbiom of healthy skin visible.
My mother helps people with itchy and red skin to become beautiful.
I love to be outside in nature with our family dog Lucy, or with my quails in the garden. In nature I also get inspiration for new herbal ingredients.
